Hi there,

Does this module work with the Acura TSX 2005?

Thanks!

The Honda window module will work on any vehicle that has windows that can be raised by inserting your key in the drivers key cylinder, turning to the 'LOCK' position briefly, and then turning and holding the key in the 'lock' position.

The KPtechnologies module simulates this signal to the OEM power window control module, basically making it think that the key is physically being inserted and turned.

Let me know if this helps you out!

Just a quick verification, this feature is only enabled through the keyless (hand-held) remote, not workable via the interior door lock switch on either door - right?

Thanks

The module will be triggered from the interior door lock switches IF the ignition is off. If the ignition is on the module will not operate.

Kevin,

Appreciate the quick reply and info.

One last question, when closing all the windows through the key fob, will the audible alarm confirmation (horn in TSX) always go off? I watched a video from Acurazine and noticed each time the device was used the horn could be heard. IMO this would be an annoying side effect.

Thanks again!

All other functions of the car are left in tact, so in most cases the horn will honk on the 2nd press.

There may be a way to defeat the horn honk in the BCM programming, but I'm not sure.

Thanks Kevin,

Just posted at Acurazine GB thread to see if anyone has successfully deleted the honk honk.

On the 2006 TSX the lock confirmaton can be disabled using the preferences in the Multi Info Display. It is in the manual.

Thanks Rocket_man,

While that may be true, the 2004 uses the horn as a confirmation which is quite a bit louder compared with the softer 2006 piezo speaker.

Unfortunately, 2004 did not offer any preference for disabling it, least none I'm aware of?
